Your legal responsibility
If you would like to register for the webinar competition (referred to “competition” in the following), then you are required to provide certain voluntarily transmitted personal data which we need in order to collect, save and process (both manually and by computer) in accordance with the most recent legislation on data protection (EU-GDPR 2018).
Fields where you provide such mandatory data are marked with an asterisk (*) symbol. Data without (*) are used for administrative and fiscal purposes; you need to provide it in order to be enrolled. Your data will be provided to the Wheat Initiative Secretariat and the competition organisers (Expert Working Group Chairs). Data will not be disseminated to external bodies, except for mail delivery companies, service management companies appointed by the Wheat Initiative Secretariat and/or organisers. The Wheat Initiative and the event organisers will delete your personal data 6 months after finishing all processes of the competition.
The Wheat Initiative Secretariat and the competition organisers listed on the Wheat Initiative or event website act as joint data controllers for this competition.
If you submit your Webinar you have the responsibility to assure legal clearance for all graphics, images and footage used. This means you have to make sure, you have permission from the original copyright holder to use the material in your webinar.

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Law of Germany
a) for your participation in the (Wheat Initiative) Webinar competition
b) to receive e-mailed information on the registered (Wheat Initiative) competition.
For documentation and communication reasons the Wheat Initiative Secretariat and competition organisers are taking pictures/films on behalf of the Wheat Initiative of submitted material (such as screenshots etc)..
These images may be used on various platforms or communication tools of the Wheat Initiative, such as its website, social media channels or on printed materials (e.g. Annual Report). Images won't be sold to third parties and used soley for purposes of the Wheat Initiative.
Should you disagree, you can contact us anytime (by letter, email etc.) or fill out and sign the revocation provided at the event. It is possible at any time to disclaim the silent agreement (also afterwards). The image material will then be removed to the possible extend, power and influence of the Wheat Initiative.
You have the following rights vis-à-vis Wheat Initiative and the event organisers:
To withdraw your given consent(s) at any time;
The withdrawal of the consent does not affect the legality of the processing
carried out based on the declaration of consent until the withdrawal;
Accessing your personal data;
Correcting your personal data;
Revoking your consent to receive e-mail from the Wheat Initiative and the competition organisers by unsubscribing from the event mailing list
Data portability –receiving a copy of your data in a reusable electronic format.
