TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GDPR
The EU General Data Protection Regulation came into effect on 25 May 2018. The GDPR introduces a significant number of changes to the existing EEA data protection law and expands the rights of individuals by giving them greater control over their personal data. The Wheat Initiative would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our approach to data privacy.
The Wheat Initiative is storing the data above (in this case your name, email address, OrcidID, employment sector, personal webpage, research keywords, country and city locations, work position and institution) for public use on WheatVIVO. If you agree to the terms, your details will be stored for use on the WheatVIVO database, for contact through the Wheat Initiative and its Expert Working Groups. Data will not be sold to any third parties. Data will not be disseminated to external bodies, but are publicly accessible.
Please contact us (wheat.initiative@julius-kuehn.de), if you have any questions regarding this survey or the safety of your data.
You have the right to revoke your personal data at any time by contacting us via email or mail. Please be aware that WheatVIVO collects data from relevant websites. If your data appears from a third party, then you will have to contact the source directly to remove your data.
